Brewed from mountain spring water

The water, the elementary basis of every beer, bubbles up in our brewery in the best quality. Soft mountain water is the favourite of every hop. In devotion, caressed by the soft water, the noble herb releases its inexhaustible concert of flavours. It would be a sin not to utilise this.

Our own three varieties at a glance.

Rappental

Märzen, bottom-fermented

Matured cool and extensively as the bottom-fermenting yeasts love it, like the snow that lies far into the year on the valley floor of the Rappental. A strong Märzen beer, original, tart, full-bodied, golden yellow like the evening sun.

Alcohol %(vol.): 5.6%
Original gravity: 13.5%

Speciality beer made from ingredients: Water, barley malt, hops and yeast, lots of love and passion.

Galen-Amber

Dark, top-fermented

An increasingly popular type of beer, ‘amber beers’ amber to dark in colour. Strongly malted, lightly hopped and soooo drinkable. A beer as beautiful and natural as the view from the Chäserstatter sun terrace.

Alcohol %(vol.): 5.2%
Original gravity: 12.5%

Speciality beer made from ingredients: Water, barley malt, hops and yeast, lots of love and passion.

Hefe Weizen

Bright and light

Summer; a wonderfully light wheat beer. We let the flavours of this special top-fermented yeast strain come into their own. Phenolic, fruity flavours complement the fresh character.

Alcohol %(vol.): 5.0%
Original wort: 12.0%

Speciality beer made from ingredients: Water, wheat malt barley malt, hops and yeast.

Ernergalen beer, brewed by hand in the mountain brewery

At 1777 metres above sea level. Naturally cloudy, unfiltered in the bottle or matured in barrels

The magnificent view allows you to look far, far, far into the world, boundless in spirit.
It is a pleasure to indulge in recipes, discover special flavours and create something new. The German Purity Law, well. Tradition in honour, will we put on blinkers in this privileged vantage point?

Let's look forward to a constant stream of new creations, whereby we will of course include the best in a cosy standard range. The customer decides what tastes particularly good.

The natural trub is suspended matter from the hops and yeast, which ensures a fine, tingling distribution of carbon dioxide and carries numerous flavourings. This beer is fresh and untreated, can be kept chilled and improves with age. Therefore, the last bottle of a brew is almost always the best.
